Installing a complete dashboard / instrument panel (IP) sub-assembly—complete with cross-car beam, wiring harness, HVAC unit, and centre console—is one of the most ergonomically demanding stations on an automotive Trim & Final line. Operators must pick up a bulky 35–85 kg cockpit module from the sub-assembly dolly, rotate it through the narrow A-pillar / front door opening without scratching painted bodywork, and hold it in exact alignment while cross-car bolts are torqued.

Our system is installed and operating at Chery's Shah Alam assembly plant, giving operators true zero-gravity float control, pneumatic yaw/pitch alignment, and redundant anti-drop interlocks so the instrument panel can never release until it is safely seated on the vehicle body locators.
Ovity's 100% pneumatic balancers, air hoists, KH Track rails, and mechanical reaction arms operate reliably in Malaysia's high shop-floor heat and humidity, require zero expensive imported servo drives or PCB boards, and are supported directly by our Puchong engineering and fabrication team.
