Unlike simple chain hoists that only pull straight up, automotive chassis and powertrain stations often require holding heavy, off-centre components—such as McPherson suspension struts, steering knuckles, brake corners, rear twist-beam axles, differential housings, and engine heads—at precise angles while reaching underneath a raised vehicle body or over an engine pallet.
